Weber Haus Amburana Cachaça, distilled in a handmade copper still from sugar cane juice. Aged for 1 year in Amburana casks, a native Brazilian wood providing a unique depth of flavour.
30% alcohol.
Appearance, taste and texture
Dark amber colour. Aromas and flavours of vanilla, cloves, cinnamon and other spices. Sharp sweet taste and creamy texture typical of cachaça liqueurs.
How to drink
Best drunk neat, over ice or with ice cream (the Brazilians love their ice cream!) or after dinner with coffee. Like most liqueurs it can be used as an ingredient in many desserts.
Top tip from the Weber family: Puff pastry apple pie with ice cream and Amburana cachaça liqueur. A delicious sweet treat.
The perfect cocktail
The sharpness of citrus and passion fruit perfectly complement the woody, spicy sweetness of Amburana liqueur in the Cubango.
The Cubango
30ml Silver cachaça
15ml Amburana liqueur
30ml grapefruit juice
15ml lemon juice
15ml passion fruit syrup
Shake all ingredients well with lots of ice, double-strain into a champagne flute and garnish with a sprig of mint.
